Throughout high school, I volunteered and participated in a program where I taught a foreign language (Spanish) to a classroom of elementary school students for an hour after school once every week. I used props, exercises, arts and crafts, and other techniques to allow the children to learn the best way possible, while also having fun. I would love to tutor because I get fulfillment out of being able to help others better themselves and I've always enjoyed teaching and anything school related (My Christmas lists would consist of textbooks, grade books, and name cards for my classroom of stuffed animals-shh!) I started taking Spanish foreign language classes when I was in 3rd grade and I am currently still enrolled in college, equaling 13 completed years of Spanish. English and Algebra are my two strongest subjects-completed 4 years of both in high school I am heavily involved with a community service based organization, Pass-It-Along. I have worked with many children, from helping in soup kitchens to reading and painting with them. My current college GPA at Monmouth University is a 3.8.

Hobbies
My hobbies include photography, painting and drawing, anything outdoors, eating good food, and playing board games. I love sports and have played field hockey and ran track and field for most of my life. I'm outgoing, hard working, and fun-loving. Most importantly, I really enjoy helping others.
